comparison boxplot

How would I create a comparison boxplot and have both plots displayed on the same page?

Example:

--------------
Etruscan * -----------------I + I-------------
--------------

-----------
Italian ---------I + I-----------
-----------
--+---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+----
126.0 132.0 138.0 144.0 150.0 156.0

Dan:

Your data should be laid out in either on of the following format:

Format 1
column 'A' with Etruscan data and column 'B' with Italian data.

Format 2:
Column 'A' with Categories (Italian, Etruscan) and column 'B' with values

(see http://www.vtools.net/userguide.php#ChartSetup )

Once you have the data in the right format, select your data and then click VTools menu and select ‘Plot’.

On the input tab, select
‘data columns’ for Format 1
‘data and code column’ for format 2. Also, select ‘code column’ as 1 for this format

On the output tab
Select ‘Box & Whisker’ and other options you might want. Make sure 'Labels in the first row' is checked.

On the Options tab:
Choose any stats you might want to display in the stats box.

Click Plot and you are done! Let me know if you need more help.
